Sancharame from Epic: London breeze and cool romance

Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya have teamed up once again after the blockbuster Baby. The duo now play college students in the UK in their new film “Epic – First Semester,” and the makers have released the first single, “Sancharame”.

The song is composed and sung by Hesham Abdul Wahab, while the lyrics are written by Goreti Venkanna. Known as a people’s poet for his popular folk songs, Goreti Venkanna brings a refreshing touch here. The lyrics elegantly blend the essence of desi roots with a videshi lifestyle, perfectly matching the film’s youthful narrative.

Visually, the song offers beautiful glimpses of London, capturing the breezy vibe of the city. Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, playing college students in the UK, share a charming on-screen chemistry that adds to the song’s appeal.

“Epic – First Semester” marks the directorial debut of Aditya Haasan, who earlier gained recognition for the web series 90’s – A Middle Class Biopic. The film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
