Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for blockbusters like Arjun Reddy, Kabir Singh, and Animal, has been actively working on the pre-production of his next film, Spirit, starring Prabhas.
On the occasion of Ugadi, Vanga revealed that the team is currently scouting locations in Mexico, sparking excitement among fans. “I am currently doing location recce in Mexico,” he announced, fueling speculation about the film’s setting.
Earlier, Vanga described “Spirit” as a crime drama, with Prabhas portraying a police officer. His latest hints suggest that the film—billed as a high-octane cop thriller—may explore the dangerous world of international crime syndicates and drug cartels.
The director’s Mexico visit has led to speculation that Spirit could feature intense action sequences set against the backdrop of deserts and urban landscapes, ideal for a gripping narrative about a relentless cop taking on a global underworld.
Prabhas is reportedly working on a distinct look to embody his role as a fearless law enforcer. Produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, “Spirit” is expected to begin filming after summer 2025.
