Nani and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is adding dollars to its kitty even during weekdays. The film grossed about half a million dollars in the first weekend. Now, it is looking at ending the first week with 700k dollars.
Until Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ hits the screens in the USA, it will not face much competition. Hence, the distributor is confident t it would touch the coveted $1 million mark.
On Tuesday, the reported gross is $56,081, and the total gross now stands at $621,769.
This month, the USA box office saw two films – Akhanda ($1 million-plus) and Pushpa (2.2 million) performing strongly. If ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ also makes it to the club of $1 million, it will become the most bountiful month for the Telugu film industry.
