Simran on catching up with Rajinikanth: ‘Beautiful moment’

Simran, who once ruled Telugu and Tamil cinema with a string of blockbusters opposite top stars in the early 2000s, never got the chance to share the screen with Rajinikanth at her peak. That opportunity came much later, in 2019, when she starred alongside him in “Petta.”

Now, while Simran has gracefully transitioned into mother roles, Rajinikanth continues to headline films. But his characters no longer carry romantic tracks.

Recently, Simran won praise for her performance in the Tamil film “Tourist Family.” Around the same time, Rajinikanth delivered a hit with “Coolie.”

The actress visited the Superstar at his residence, sharing warm moments and heartfelt conversations. Posting pictures from the meeting on Instagram, Simran described it as “timeless” and said the moment was extra special because both were celebrating career successes.

Simran wrote: “Some meetings are timeless…Grateful to spend a beautiful moment with our Superstar #Coolie & #TouristFamily success made this meet even more special.”
