While Sandeep Reddy Vanga was still working on Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal,” an announcement was made by T-Series, Bollywood’s leading production house, that it would produce a pan-Indian film featuring Allu Arjun and the director. At the time, news circulated that Sandeep Vanga would direct Prabhas in “Spirit” first, then Allu Arjun’s film.
But things have changed. After the massive success of “Pushpa 2,” Allu Arjun committed to a film with director Atlee. He is also involved in Trivikram’s project and “Pushpa 3.” Given these packed commitments, Sandeep Reddy Vanga has reportedly signed a deal with Ram Charan.
The latest buzz is that Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently met Ram Charan, and mutually have agreed to collaborate.
Ram Charan’s current slate
Ram Charan is currently working on “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on March 27, 2026. Later this year, he will also begin work on director Sukumar’s film, which is expected to release in the final months of 2027.
Only after completing Sukumar’s film would Ram Charan consider collaborating with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Vanga’s commitments
Sandeep Reddy Vanga had planned to start filming Prabhas’s “Spirit” by now, but the project has experienced a delay. If Prabhas doesn’t allot dates within the next four or five months, Vanga might move forward with “Animal Park,” the sequel to Animal. He has officially committed to these two films: Spirit and Animal Park. After wrapping up these projects, he might collaborate with Ram Charan.
