Sravani death case: producer Ashok Reddy arrested
Hyderabad police on Wednesday arrested ‘RX100’ producer Ashok Reddy in connection with the death case of actress Sravani Kondapalli. The TV actress died by suicide last week and Ashok Reddy has been named as the A3 in the case.
Ashok Reddy was in absconding for two days but finally, police took him into custody.
Police had filed cases on Ashok Reddy, Devaraj Reddy, and Sai Krishna Reddy for the abetment of actress Sravani’s suicide. Police said that Ashok Reddy and Sravani were in a romantic relationship and Ashok Reddy had also allegedly harassed her.
Sravani had played roles in TV serials like “Manasu Mamata” and “Mounaragam”, and also acted in movies such as ‘Kobbari Matta’ and ‘Prematho Mee Karthik. She hanged herself at her residence in Madhuranagar in Hyderabad on September 8.
