Sreeleela has made a mark in Telugu cinema with her electrifying dance performances, but she now wants to be recognized for more than just her moves.
Determined to break the stereotype of being cast in glamorous, dance-heavy roles, she is set to showcase her acting depth in upcoming projects.
In “Robinhood,” where she stars opposite Nithiin, Sreeleela plays Neera Vasudev—a wealthy, assertive woman returning from overseas who hires a security agency in India, leading her to cross paths with Nithiin’s character. This role offers her the opportunity to explore a more layered performance, proving her versatility beyond just being a phenomenal dancer.
Sharing her thoughts on breaking industry stereotypes, Sreeleela expressed excitement about portraying a strong, multidimensional character.
Upcoming films
“Robinhood” is set to be her first release of 2025, while she also has exciting projects lined up, including “Aashiqui 3” in Bollywood alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ravi Teja’s “Mass Jathara,” which is slated to hit theaters later this year.
“Robinhood,” directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is scheduled for release on March 28, 2025.
