Sreeleela achieved the highest position in the industry a year ago due to a string of successful movies. However, her popularity suffered a setback when a few of her films failed at the box office. Although she still has two films in her possession, she is not really busy this year.
But Sreeleela is being inundated with offers of a distinct nature. Due to her exceptional dancing skills, several filmmakers are extending offers to have her perform item numbers in their movies. She has just been offered to perform an item song in a Bollywood film as well as in a prominent Tamil movie. However, the actress of ‘Dhamaka’ graciously declined their offer.
Sreeleela is currently not interested in taking up item songs as part of her career. She prefers to continue portraying female lead characters rather than transitioning into an “item bomb”.
Actresses such as Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal have chosen to perform item songs during the height of their careers, but Sreeleela currently has no desire to pursue such opportunities.
She is now working on the film “Robinhood” alongside Nithiin. Additionally, she has been cast as the primary female protagonist opposite Pawan Kalyan in the next film “Ustaad Bhagat Singh”, which is scheduled to recommence production in the following year.
