Sridevi's wax statue evokes wild reactions
Legendary actress Late Sridevi was honored with a wax statue. The wax figurine was unveiled recently at Madame Tussauds Singapore. Her figurine was designed on the lines of Sridevi’s famous role from director Sekhar Kapoor’s popular film ‘Mr.India’.
But seeing the photographs of her wax statue, social media folks are aghast at getting her features wrong. They have opined that the face of the statue hardly resembles the beautiful Sridevi.
Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi and filmmaker husband Boney Kapoor were present at the unveiling of Sridevi’s statue in Singapore. Although Janhvi emotionally left the message saying ‘She lives in our hearts forever’, the internet was not kind for Madame Tussauds.
Sridevi died last year.
