Suriya becomes ‘Achaludu’ for director Bala!

Director Bala, of ‘Sivaputrudu’ fame, is directing Suriya for the third time. Nearly decades later, they have joined hands. Their new film has been titled ‘Achaludu’.  

‘Achaludu’ means Lord Shiva or a man of unbendable perseverance. The Tamil version is titled ‘Vanangaan’. This is Suriya’s 41st film as an actor. There were rumors that the movie got shelved due to differences between Suriya and Bala. But Suriya unveiled the first look of ‘Achaludu’ on the eve of his director’s birthday today.

Suriya owes his success to director Bala. 

Krithi Shetty of ‘Uppena’ fame has been paired up with Suriya in the film. GV Prakash is composing the music. The film’s shoot is in progress.
