Suriya has announced Rs 5 crore to the cinema industry bodies and cine workers. He is donating this money from the revenue he received from the direct digital release of ‘Aakasham Nee Haddu Raa’.
As a first installment, he today handed over Rs 1.5 crore out of the Rs 5 crore announced amount to the associations belonging to Tamil actors, producers, and directors.
‘Aakasham Nee Haddu Raa’ is set stream on Amazon Prime skipping the theatrical release. The film will stream on October 30, 2020.
