Suriya’s Veera Bhadrudu restarts promotions

Suriya’s long-delayed film “Karuppu” is finally set to hit theaters next week. The Telugu version has been titled “Veera Bhadrudu,” and the makers have now resumed promotional activities.
The team had reportedly slowed down promotions due to the intense political atmosphere following the election results and the media frenzy surrounding Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony. With public attention largely focused on political developments over the past few days, the makers were uncertain about aggressively pushing the film at that time.
Now that the situation has settled, the team has restarted publicity campaigns ahead of the release.
“Veera Bhadrudu” is slated to release on May 14 in both Tamil and Telugu languages. The film features Suriya in a rugged rural avatar, while Trisha plays the female lead.
Directed by RJ Balaji, the film has music composed by Sai Abhyankkar, the young musician who recently gained popularity with Pradeep Ranganathan’s “Dude.”
Although “Veera Bhadrudu” currently lacks strong buzz in the Telugu market, the absence of major Telugu releases next week could work in its favor and help it gain decent attention at the box office.
