Swayambhu: Best overseas deal for Nikhil Siddharth

Nikhil Siddharth has been working on a single film for nearly two years. Despite the long gap between his releases, he has stayed fully focused on this ambitious project, which also marks the 20th film of his career.

Swayambhu, directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar, with Tagore Madhu presenting, is slated for release on February 13, 2026. The film has now closed its theatrical overseas distribution for a record price in Nikhil Siddharth’s career.

According to trade buzz, the deal is valued at around Rs7 crore, the highest ever for a Nikhil starrer. Phars Film has acquired the theatrical rights for all overseas territories.

Rooted in India’s cultural heritage, “Swayambhu” explores untold chapters of the past. Nikhil plays a warrior and has undergone an intense physical transformation and rigorous training to embody the demanding role.

“Swayambhu” features Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh as the female leads. Baahubali and RRR fame KK Senthil Kumar is handling cinematography, while KGF composer Ravi Basrur is scoring the music.
