Swayambhu Teaser: Nikhil Siddhartha gears up for a magnum opus

Nikhil Siddhartha steps into what appears to be the biggest and most ambitious film of his career with “Swayambhu.” Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios, with Tagore Madhu presenting, the film is mounted as a massive spectacle. The makers have now unveiled a teaser, kickstarting promotions on a grand note.

The teaser opens with the powerful mythology of the Sengol, the sacred sceptre believed to have been gifted to Shri Ram by Lord Shiva. The narrative suggests that even this divine symbol faced exile, leading to bloody wars to reclaim it.

Set against the backdrop of 985 AD, the film blends Indian history with mythology.

Nikhil appears in his most ferocious avatar. Sporting long warrior hair, a curled moustache, rugged beard, and a chiselled physique, he convincingly transforms into a battle-hardened hero. Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh are presented in powerful, non-conventional roles, breaking away from routine portrayals.

Cinematographer K.K. Senthil Kumar adds stunning visual depth. Ravi Basrur’s background score heightens the drama.

The teaser was screened in 3D at Prasad’s PCX Theatre in Hyderabad. The makers have officially locked a summer release and are planning a Pan-World rollout in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Chinese, Spanish, and Arabic languages.

With “Swayambhu,” Nikhil aims to enter the global market.
