Tamannaah Bhatia rejects ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ remix?

Tamannaah Bhatia has emerged as one of the most sought-after performers for special songs in both Bollywood and the South Indian film industry.
From “Kaavaalaa” in “Jailer” and “Aaj Ki Raat” in “Stree 2” to Telugu chartbusters like “Swing Zara” from “Jai Lava Kusa” and “Daang Daang” from “Sarileru Neekevvaru”, Tamannaah has consistently delivered blockbuster dance numbers. Her appearance in “Aaj Ki Raat” became a massive sensation, setting new streaming and social media records and further strengthening her position as the industry’s go-to star for special songs.
With such popularity, it is only natural that filmmakers are eager to cast her in high-profile dance numbers.
The latest buzz suggested that Tamannaah was being considered for a recreated version of the iconic “Choli Ke Peeche” song. Recently, Sanjay Dutt announced “Khalnayak Returns”, a sequel to his 1993 blockbuster “Khalnayak”. The original film featured the legendary “Choli Ke Peeche” song, performed by Madhuri Dixit, which remains one of Bollywood’s most iconic dance numbers.

Reports claimed that the makers were planning a remix version for the sequel and had approached Tamannaah to perform it.
However, Tamannaah has reportedly declined the offer. While neither the actress nor the makers have revealed the exact reason, industry insiders believe she may not have wanted to step into Madhuri Dixit’s shoes for such an iconic song.
Another possibility is that Tamannaah is now being more selective about the special songs she takes up.
