Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Thalaivi’, which was to release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi on 23rd April, has got a lucrative deal from several OTT companies for direct-digital release. However, the makers don’t want to opt for this route.

The makers say they will not skip a theatrical release. They would rather wait for things to become normal to have a release in theaters than streaming it on the OTT platform.
‘Thalaivi’ is directed by AL Vijay and it also features Aravind Swami as MGR. Kangana Ranaut wants this film to be screened in theaters only since it is the biopic of late Jayalalithaa.
