Tharun Bhascker: Not interested in politics
Director Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ fame is a multi-faceted talent. Besides direction, he also dabbled in penning dialogues for other movies, acted in two movies, hosted a Talk show, and now ventured into the app business.
Tharun Bhasker has directed ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Ee Nagariniki Emaindi’ and is now writing a script for his next directorial which is likely to feature Venkatesh in the lead role.
Since he has tried his hands in various fields, will he also step into politics? His family is in politics. His uncle Vinay Bhaskar is an MLA (Warangal West). However, Tharun, in a recent BBC interview, said he will serve society through his films. He has no interest to step into politics.
