Director Sriram Venu has a long association with producer Dil Raju. He had directed three films – Oh My Friend, MCA, and Vakeel Saab – so far, and all of them are Dil Raju’s productions. So, the news of Sriram Venu’s decision of parting ways with the maverick producer came as a surprise.
It is now almost certain that Sriram Venu will be moving out of Dil Raju’s camp. What made him take this drastic decision especially after delivering a blockbuster ‘Vakeel Saab’?
Our sources inform that the young director has many complaints with Dil Raju’s production house. The senior producer is not addressing the issues he had raised until now. Sriram Venu had delivered two hits – MCA with Nani and Vakeel Saab with Pawan Kalyan, but he has not received any huge sums from Dil Raju, other than the regular salary and fixed remuneration.
Dil Raju has a habit of presenting lavish gifts like apartments and cars to his directors when they deliver hits. He has also given a stake in profits to some directors. But Sriram Venu has been getting a fixed low amount.
Frustrated with these developments, Sriram Venu has decided to move out of Dil Raju’s camp and pursue his career on his own. H has received some lucrative offers from other production houses.
