More states might follow the suit in the coming days. Bollywood biggies have dropped their release plans. Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ has been postponed. The makers of our Pan-Indian movies ‘RRR’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ needs to make a decision as well.

Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ featuring NTR and Ram Charan is a pan-Indian project with hundreds of crores of rupees riding on it. The film is scheduled for Jan 7th release worldwide. Hindi markets are crucial to its theatrical business.

“RRR” is also going to release in overseas in a record number of theaters. So, Rajamouli has to make a decision carefully.

There is no doubt that Prabhas enjoys more popularity in North Indian than the Telugu states. Hence, the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ are promoting it in Hindi aggressively. A separate soundtrack was composed for the Hindi version. The makers of “Radhe Shyam” might change the release date.
