‘Tholi Prema’ (1998) was the film that catapulted Pawan Kalyan to stardom at the start of his career. On June 30, Sri Matha Creations will distribute the film in 300 theaters across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
‘Tholi Prema’ was acclaimed producer Dil Raju’s first film as a distributor. “I enjoyed the film Tholi Prema more than its producer, GVG Raju garu. And I still enjoy it to this day,” Dil Raju added at the trailer’s debut at Ramanaidu Studios.
Raghuram Reddy of Sri Matha Creations stated that a portion of the proceeds from this release will benefit Pawan Kalyan garu’s Rythu Bharosa Yatra.
GVG Raju, the producer of ‘Tholi Prema,’ observed that ‘great pictures are not made, they happen’. Vasuki, who played Pawan Kalyan’s sister in ‘Tholi Prema,’ said she was unable to attend promotional events around the film’s release. It’s an honor to be a part of this re-release ceremony here in Hyderabad, Vasuki added.
Anand Sai, the film’s art director, thanked Powerstar Pawan Kalyan for introducing him. A. Karunakaran, the film’s director, stated, “Like droplets may fall anywhere when it rains, bringing new life, my story is similar to it when it landed in Pawan Kalyan’s hand and changed my future.”
