Akhil Akkineni celebrated his birthday today, receiving wishes from fans and film celebrities. On this occasion, the makers of his sixth film announced the title and the project.
The film has been titled “Lenin.” The title glimpse video, which lasts a minute, has the dialogue of Akhil saying that his father told him that men are not born with names but die earning names.
The video reveals Akhil in his beard avatar and Sreeleela standing beside him and ends with this line: No war is more violent than love.
This is the first time that Sreeleela is acting with Akhil.
Murali Kishore Abburu is the director of this rural drama. Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments, in association with Annapurna Studios, will produce the film. Thaman has provided the music.
Akhil Akkineni needs a blockbuster. His previous film, “Agent,” was such a flop that the actor didn’t sign any film in the past two years, waiting for the right project to make a comeback. Thus, he signed this film.
