Aditya 369 is gearing up to hit the big screen again, and it’s coming in hot with a slick makeover. This Nandamuri Balakrishna classic, cooked up by the maestro Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, is getting a Grand re-release on April 11th. Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad suggested that it’s gonna be a visual feast for the audience of all ages.
We are talking crispy 4K visuals and a 5.1 sound mastered version of the film that will make you feel like you are right in the action. Back in 1991 when it first dropped, this flick was ahead of its time, and now it’s ready to strut its stuff again. The sci-fi stunner still vibes with today’s crowd, the producer believes.
Balakrishna’s dual role, Ilaiyaraaja’s tunes, Jandhyala’s dialogues, cinematography bt top 3 cinematograpers PC Sreeram, VSR Swamy and Kabir Lal and research-driven work by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao made this First Indian Time travel Sci-fi film a pride of Telugu Cinema.
Talking about the April 11th re-release, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad said, “My heartfelt gratitude also goes to Nandamuri Balakrishna garu and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao garu, who were thrilled when they heard about the re-release of this legendary project. Back then, even though I was a new producer, I will always be grateful to Balayya Babu garu for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to make this film. Whether as Sri Krishnadevaraya or Krishna Kumar, he delivered an extraordinary performance in both roles. He looked incredibly majestic on screen, and his royal demeanor was evident in every scene. I will be forever indebted to SPB garu for making this benchmark film happen in our banner. This film is a testament to the brilliance of Singeetam Srinivasa Rao garu as both a storyteller and a director.”
