Trisha has benefited more from the massive success of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyan Selvan’ than any other member of the team. Many people were taken aback when they saw the 39-year-old actress looking both regal and youthful.
It’s no surprise that she’s now getting a lot of big projects. Trisha has now been cast in a film alongside Tamil Superstar Vijay. Despite the fact that they worked together at the start of her career, landing a Vijay film (#Thalapathy67) as the main heroine is something she can be proud of at this stage.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, the hotshot filmmaker who earned a cult following after a string of successes including ‘Khaidi’ and ‘Vikram,’ is directing the film.
Other cast members who have been announced include Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Mansoor Ali Khan, Sandy, and Mysskin. Yesterday, the team made a slew of casting announcements. Trisha’s name, however, was only revealed today.
This will be the fifth movie for Trisha with Vijay. They are working together after 14 long years. “Team #Thalapathy67 is all excited to bring back the Magical Pair,” the production house tweeted.
