Actress Trisha Krishnan, known for her work as an animal activist, has made a thoughtful contribution to Tamil Nadu’s temple culture by donating a life-sized mechanical elephant to two prominent temples.

Named Gaja, the animatronic elephant is designed to take part in temple rituals and ceremonies, offering a compassionate and cruelty-free alternative to the use of live elephants. Gaja will be used in the rituals of Sri Ashtabhuja Athisesha Varahi Amman and Sri Ashtalinga Athisesha Selva Vinayagar temples in Tamilnadu.

Trisha said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of this beautiful moment. Devotion shines brightest when it’s rooted in compassion. Welcoming a mechanical elephant into our temple traditions is a celebration of kindness, innovation, and culture.”

Trisha recently appeared in “Thug Life.”
