Udit Narayan replies to uproar about kissing fans

Udit Narayan is a legendary vocalist who has received many national film awards. The veteran artist sparked uproar after a viral video of his event captured him kissing female fans on the lips during a live performance.

The films show how several of the young girls approached the stage and took selfies with him; then he bent down on his knees and kissed some of them on the cheeks and others on the lips.

The videos went viral, and social media users condemned Udit Narayan for his indecent behavior with female fans. People reacted by trolling and criticizing him for his actions.

Udit Narayan then claimed to the media that the event of kissing a female fan on the lips occurred spontaneously as he was ready to lay a peck on her cheeks. He claimed that over his 45-year career, he had never misbehaved with fans.

But contrary to the claim, the videos show he deliberately kissed a fan on her lips.

Udit Narayan sang a number of hit Telugu songs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, including “Ramma Chilakamma,” “Andala Adabamma,” “Le Letha,” and “Bangaru Kalla.”
