Urvashi Rautela has been embroiled in a controversy when she claimed that people pray to her in a temple in Uttarakhand that was built for her. She referred to the Urvashi temple near Badrinath as the temple to say this.
The priests of the old temple decided to file a case against her, who considers the temple sacred, for hurting their religious sentiments and for her callous attitude.
As the controversy is brewing, Urvashi Rautela’s team posted a statement through her PR team. She says people “heard” her interview.
“Urvashi Rautela said that there is a temple in my name in Uttarakhand, not Urvashi Rautela’s temple. Now people don’t even listen to things properly; just hearing ‘Urvashi’ or ‘temple,’ they assumed that people worship Urvashi Rautela.
