Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s ‘Pushpa The Rise’ has collected big money at the USA box office. The film grossed half a million dollars from the premiere shows, the biggest opening for any Telugu film in 2021. It is a record this year.
‘Pushpa The Rise’ had generated hype. People wanted to see the film on the first day. However, the USA distributor could not find enough screens to meet the demand. As ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ occupied all screens in the USA, the distributor was left with limited screens to screen ‘Pushpa The Rise’.
Thus the film ended up raking in 500k. Or it would have collected big gross as well.
‘Pushpa The Rise’ also faced other technical problems. Despite these hurdles, the film grossing more than half a million dollars is an achievement.
Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa The Rise’ has received mixed reviews. But critics are unanimous about Allu Arjun’s performance. He has delivered the best performance, they wrote.
