Sreeleela is set to make her Bollywood debut alongside rising superstar Kartik Aaryan in an upcoming romantic drama. While the two are currently filming, rumors of their off-screen chemistry have also been making rounds.
Initially, it was speculated that Kartik Aaryan recommended Sreeleela for another project—a sequel to “Pati Patni Aur Woh.” New rumors, however, indicate that the producers have changed their casting strategy.
According to Bollywood media outlets, “Pati Patni Aur Woh 2” will now feature Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon, as the female lead opposite Kartik Aaryan. The decision was reportedly made to avoid repeating the same lead pair in back-to-back films, ensuring a fresh on-screen dynamic.
Rasha Thadani, who made her Bollywood debut in the recently released “Azaad,” may not have found success at the box office, but she gained immense popularity with her viral song “Uyi Amma.” Despite the film’s failure, the track became a chartbuster, amassing over 180 million views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Sreeleela also found recognition in the Hindi market with her item song “Kissik” from “Pushpa 2.” Now, in an intriguing twist, the Uyi Amma girl is stepping in to replace the Kissik girl in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2.
