V theatrical collections are poor

V Movie

Nani and Sudheer Babu’s multi-starrer revenge drama ‘V’ hit the screens on 1st January 2021. The film, which already streamed on Prime Video in September, came into the theaters to give a chance to the audiences who don’t have access to OTT platforms.

However, the film has failed to attract moviegoers. The collections in the first weekend are paltry. In many theaters, it could not bring in audiences to 10 % of seating capacity.

Directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna, ‘V’ received low ratings from the critics when it premiered on Prime Video. The predictable plot and plain narration are the reason why the movie could not entice the audience.

On the other hand, Sai Tej’s ‘Solo Brathuke So Better’ broke even with its theatrical collection. The film was released for the Christmas festival.
