Varalaxmi Sarathkumar turns director with Saraswathi

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who impressed Telugu audiences with impactful roles in films like Krack and Veera Simha Reddy, is now set to take on a new challenge. She is making her debut as both a producer and director.

Along with her sister Pooja Sarathkumar, she has launched a new production banner titled Dosa Diaries.

Their maiden venture is named Saraswathi, and Varalaxmi is not only producing it but also directing and playing the lead role.

Billed as a high-concept thriller, Saraswathi features an ensemble cast that includes Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Naveen Chandra in key roles. Notably, music director Thaman has joined the team to compose the soundtrack.
