Speaking about the film, she said she plays the role of Bhagyalakshmi, a pre-primary school teacher. “Besides being a teacher, Bhagyalakshmi is essentially a fun-loving girl. I truly enjoy being amidst children. It is a relatable character,” she said.

The film deals with the theme of sperm donation. How comfortable she was with such a subject. “Swathimuthyam is a proper family entertainer and a love story. I am not allowed to talk much about the theme that you are talking about but the film is closer to reality and there’s a lot of depth to each of the characters in Swathimuthyam. The treatment is refreshing,” she clarified.

She has positive words to talk about debutant Ganesh. “Ganesh is very much aware of the ways of the industry and filmmaking in general. He was never like a newcomer on sets and came prepared.”
