But now, Vijay Deverakonda is taking up projects which originally belong to Mahesh Babu. Puri Jagannadh wrote the script of ‘Jana Gana Mana’ for Mahesh Babu. The film was also officially announced a couple of years ago. But Mahesh Babu could not take up the project as Puri Jaganadh was continuously delivering duds. Plus, he had doubts about the script of ‘Jana Gana Mana’.
Vijay Deverakonda will now be acting in this patriotic drama. The film will start rolling shortly.
Vijay Deverakonda also became the new brand ambassador for Thums Up, the cola drink. Mahesh Babu was acting as its ambassador until now. Thus, two of Mahesh Babu’s projects fell in Vijay Deverakonda’s lap.
