Vijay Deverakonda hoped to collaborate with big directors like Sukumar while working on Puri Jagannadh’s “Liger,” but everything changed after the film’s flop. Sukumar is now a pan-Indian director, and he will not direct Vijay Deverakonda in the near future because he will be preoccupied with “Pushpa 3” and other major projects, including films starring Prabhas and Ram Charan.
So, before Deverakonda considers collaborating with top directors, he must first deliver a film that grosses more than 200 crore worldwide. As a result, he has decided to collaborate with some talented young directors.
He will next collaborate with Gowtam Tinnanuri on a period crime drama, which will be produced by Naga Vamsi.
Later, he will star in a one-of-a-kind thriller directed by Ravikiran Kola, best known for “Raja Vaaru Raani Gaaru”. Dil Raju will produce this. Then a Tamil director and a Kannada director are in talks with Vijay Deverakonda. Kananda director Narthan of “Mufti” fame and Tamil director Arun Matheswaran have both recently approached the star.
We’ll have to wait for more information on his next films after “Family Star” is released.
