Director Puri Jagannadh’s boxing drama ‘Liger’ has generated hype and buzz around the film in the last few days. The team is continuing the promotional tour. Amidst the hectic schedule, Vijay Deverakonda’s mother held a pooja at their home seeking divine blessings for her son.
“This whole month touring across India and receiving so much love already felt like God’s blessing! But Mummy feels we needed his protection So Poooja.. and sacred Bands for all of us …Now she will sleep in peace while we continue our tour,” Vijay Deverakonda posted on his social media pages.
His co-actor Ananya Panday who also participated in pooja at Vijay Deverakonda’s home said she is grateful and thanked Vijay Deverakonda’s mother. “Blessings from Vijay’s amma @deverakonda and a pooja at his home in Hyderabad for #Liger #Thankful #Grateful #Blessed thank you auntyyyyy.”
‘Liger’ features Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishna, and boxing legend Mike Tyson in the main roles. The film hits the theaters next week (August 25) in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
