Vijay Deverakonda recently wrapped up work on “Kingdom,” directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, which is set for release on July 31. Even while “Kingdom” was in mid-production, Deverakonda signed two new projects—one with director Rahul Sankrityan and another with Ravi Kiran Kola.
Rahul Sankrityan, known for films like “Taxiwaala” (which also starred Vijay Deverakonda) and “Shyam Singha Roy,” has written a period drama set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, with Vijay playing the lead role.
The film was originally scheduled to be launched on Thursday, July 10, 2025, but the production house has now altered its plans.
“Due to unavoidable circumstances, the launch ceremony has been postponed,” the team stated.
The film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
