Vishwak Sen sacks the director and takes charge himself
It has become a fashion for young actors ghost-directing their films. Everyone knows in the Telugu film industry that actors like Adivi Sesh, Naveen Polishetty, Vishwak Sen, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda write their scripts and involve in direction as well. They are completely involved in their movies. In some cases, the directors serve as the assistant directors to these heroes.
Vishwak Sen had already proved himself as a director. He had directed ‘Falaknuma Das’. Now, he is wielding the megaphone for ‘Das Ka Dhamki’. The regular shoot has begun today (March 16). But there’s a twist.
‘Das Ka Dhamki’ was launched in the direction of Naresh Kuppili with much fanfare last week. Naresh had directed Vishwak Sen’s recent movie, Paagal. The team proudly proclaimed that the ‘Paagal’ combo was coming again. A week later, the director has been sacked.
The regular shoot began today with Vishwak Sen sitting in the director’s chair, besides playing the lead role. The film has Nivetha Pethuraj as the heroine.
