Waltair Veerayya, the latest film from megastar Chiranjeevi, has also performed well f inancially in the United States, matching Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Veera Simha Reddy.” Both movies are currently competing with one another for people buying tickets in advance.
While “Veera Simha Reddy” made $125k from presale tickets, “Waltair Veerayya” has so far made $105k. Both of these movies are in great demand.
The only senior Telugu hero with two films that have grossed over $2 million is Chiranjeevi. He is one of the few Indian actors with a significant following in the USA. His “Godfather” and “Acharya,” however, had little effect at the USA bo.
