Prabhas has already announced ‘Adipurush’ as his first Bollywood movie. To be directed by Om Raut, the epic drama is said to be based on Ramayana. The film will be launched next year. Although it will be released in five languages, this marks his official debut in Bollywood.
He is said to be playing Lord Rama in this mythological project which will have Rs 500 crore budget. There is also talk that Prabhas has also been approached to play a lead role in another Bollywood biggie.
According to the industry buzz, Bollywood’s leading producer Aditya Chopra is still trying to rope in Prabhas for one of his projects that will also star Hrithik Roshan. But given Prabhas’s current line of multiple projects, he may not take up this.
Prabhas needs to complete ‘Radhe Shyam’ first and then must work Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller. ‘Aadipursh’ will also begin its shoot next year. Will Prabhas turn down Aditya Chopra’s offer? We have to wait and see.
