ఆమె ప్రధానపాత్రలో మహాదర్శకుడు సంజయ్ లీలా భన్సాలీ తీసిన చిత్రం.. “గంగూబాయి కతియావాడి”. ఈ సినిమా షూటింగ్ పూర్తి అయి చాలాకాలమే అయింది. ఇక ఇప్పుడు రిలీజ్ డేట్ ఫిక్స్ చేశారు. ఈ చిత్రాన్ని జనవరి 6, 2022న రిలీజ్ చేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు మేకర్స్. అంటే 2022లో మొదట విడుదలయ్యే మూవీ ఇదే.
ప్రముఖ జర్నలిస్ట్ హుస్సేన్ జైదీ రచించిన “మాఫియా క్వీన్స్ అఫ్ ముంబై” అనే బుక్ ఆధారంగా ఈ చిత్రం తెరకెక్కుతోంది. అజయ్ దేవ్గన్, ఇమ్రాన్ హష్మి గెస్ట్ రోల్లో కనిపించనున్నారు. ఈ చిత్రంలో గంగూబాయిగా అలియా భట్ వేశ్య గృహం నడిపే యజమానురాలుగా నటిస్తోంది.
ఇక సంక్రాంతికి “ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్” కూడా విడుదలైతే, అలియా భట్ వరుసగా రెండు సినిమాలను వారం గ్యాప్లోనే విడుదల చేసినట్లు అవుతుంది.
