వెంకటేష్ కెరీర్ లో 75వ చిత్రంగా రూపొందింది “సైంధవ్”. వెంకటేష్ కి యాక్షన్ చెయ్యడం ఇష్టం. కానీ వెంకటేష్ కున్న ఇమేజ్ వేరు. ఆయనకి ఫ్యామిలీ చిత్రాల హీరోగా పేరుంది. ఈ రెండింటిని మిక్స్ చేస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుంది అనే ఆలోచనతోనే దర్శకుడు శైలేష్ కొలను “సైంధవ్” చిత్రాన్ని తీశారట.
జనవరి 13 న గ్రాండ్ రిలీజ్ కు సిద్ధంగా ఉంది ఈ మూవీ. ఈ సినిమా కథాంశాన్ని దర్శకుడు శైలేష్ కొలను ట్రైలర్ లో చూపించారు.
“హాలీవుడ్ లో వచ్చిన ఈక్వైలైజర్, టేకెన్ లాంటి సినిమాలు ఈ సినిమాకి స్ఫూర్తి. ఆ హాలీవుడ్ హీరోలు తమ వయసుకు తగ్గ యాక్షన్ కథలు చేస్తున్నప్పుడు మన సీనియర్ హీరోలతో కూడా అలాంటి సినిమాలు చేస్తే నేటి తరం యువత లైక్ చేస్తుంది కదా అనిపించింది. సరిగ్గా నేను ఆ ఆలోచనల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడు వెంకీ గారు పిలిచి ఈ అవకాశం ఇచ్చారు. వెంకటేష్ గారు ప్రాణం పెట్టి ఈ సినిమా చేశారు,” అని శైలేష్ అంటున్నారు.
