Dragon: Intro song to be filmed on NTR in Sri Lanka

NTR and director Prashanth Neel have joined forces for the high-budget action spectacle “Dragon.” After unveiling a powerful glimpse last month, the team has now resumed shooting in Hyderabad.

The latest buzz is that Prashanth Neel is planning a grand introduction song for NTR. Known for focusing more on action and drama than dance numbers in films such as “KGF” and “Salaar,” Neel appears keen to showcase NTR’s exceptional dancing skills in a memorable opening number.

According to sources, the song will be shot partly in Sri Lanka next month on a lavish scale.

In “Dragon,” NTR plays Luger, a deadly assassin hired to take down a powerful drug mafia network. The film is said to blend intense action with patriotic undertones. To portray the character, NTR has undergone a significant physical transformation and shed weight.

Rukmini Vasanth stars as the female lead. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, “Dragon” is scheduled for release in 2027.
