Prashanth Varma directed films such as ‘Awe’ and ‘Zombie Reddy.’ His fourth film is a superhero film, Hanu-Man. The teaser is out.
The teaser, which stars Teja Sajja as Hanumanthu, gives a sense of the film’s scope. It’s clear that it’s an attempt to give the template of Hollywood’s superhero movies an Indian spin. The elements of Indian mythology and superheroism are combined.
The teaser features lavish visual effects work. The female lead is played by Amritha Aiyer, and the ‘Man Of Doom’ is played by Vinay Rai. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is seen in another role. The final scenes show Lord Hanuman performing a spiritual meditation while ice forms around him in the shape of Shivalinga. The images are breathtaking.
