Set in rural Telangana, the film has K Sudhakar Reddy playing the titular character. Directed by newcomer Bhaskar Maurya, ‘Muthayya’ has newcomer Arjun Raj, Mounika Bomma, and Purna Chandra.
Vrinda Prasad is the producer. Karthik Rodriguez has scored the music.
