Renowned filmmakers Mani Ratnam and Jayendra have produced an anthology film called ‘Navarasa’ that tells nine stories, focussing on nine emotions. Each story will highlight one emotion.
Suriya, Siddharth, Vijay Sethupathi, Anjali, Prakash Raj, Revathy, Tulasi, Poorna, and Bobby Simha played the main roles. Arvind Swami, Bejoy Nambiar, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthick Naren, Karthik Subbaraj, Priyadarshan, Rathindran R Prasad, Sarjun KM, and Vasanth S Sai have directed the anthology.
The revenue earned from this film goes towards the well-being of film workers in Tamil cinema impacted by the pandemic.
Navarasa begins streaming on 6th August 2021.
