Rajinikanth is back. Nelson, who has directed films such as “Varun Doctor” and “Beast,” is directing an action drama titled “Jailer” with the superstar. Sun Pictures’ Kalanithi Maran is producing the film.
Naga Chaitanya has released the theatrical trailer for the Telugu version of “Jailer”.
Rajinikanth appears in two different shades of a retired family man who is also the father of a police officer. The other side of him is a raged man who spares no one when evil people come into contact with him.
“You’ve just seen him as the father of a cop. But I know his other face, which you aren’t aware of,” Jackie Shroff says, referring to Rajinikanth’s the other side in the film.
This film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sunil, Vinayakan, Mirnaa Menon, and Mohanlal. Ramya Krishna plays the role of his wife.
The film “Jailer” will be released on August 10th. The female lead is played by Tamannah Bhatia. Rajinikanth and Tamannaah Bhatia’s song “Kaavaalaa”, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, went viral.
