Video: Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika distribute merit scholarships
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna on Sunday distributed merit scholarships to deserving 9th and 10th-grade students from Achampet Mandal in Telangana.
The couple attended a special event in Thummanpet village, the native place of Vijay Deverakonda’s father, where they personally handed over the scholarships to students who excelled in academics. The initiative aims to encourage young achievers to continue their education and pursue their dreams with confidence.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got married in February 2026. During a Satyanarayana Vratham held at their ancestral home in Thummanpet in March this year, the newlyweds had promised to institute merit scholarships for local students. Fulfilling that promise, they distributed the scholarship amounts at the event today.
The gesture was warmly welcomed by students, parents, and local residents, who appreciated the couple’s commitment to supporting education in the region.
