Pawan Kalyan, despite being busy with his political responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has ensured that his long-pending film projects are completed and released in theaters. Among the three films, “Hari Hara Veera Mallu” and “OG” have already hit the screens. The former became the highest-grossing film of 2025 so far and turned out to be a total treat for his fans.

He has also wrapped up his portion for the third pending project, Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Director Harish Shankar, however, still needs to complete the remaining portions with other actors and oversee post-production.

The latest buzz is that Mythri Movie Makers, the production house, is exploring various release options, either in February or April. Reportedly, the team is considering locking the date around the Maha Shivaratri festival in February 2026, most likely on February 12, 2026.

The other possible window is April. As Ram Charan’s “Peddi” is scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, the makers may plan to arrive either two weeks before or after that date. The third week of April is under consideration. However, there’s a strong possibility that “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” will arrive for Maha Shivaratri if Harish Shankar manages to complete all post-production work on time.

“Ustaad Bhagat Singh” is partly inspired by the Tamil film Theri, but Harish Shankar has made significant changes to suit Telugu sensibilities. The film stars Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna alongside Pawan Kalyan, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
