Raashii Khanna plays Shloka in ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’

It’s now official. Raashii Khanna has joined the cast of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film “Ustaad Bhagat Singh,” directed by Harish Shankar. She plays one of the female leads in this much-anticipated cop drama.

Speculation about Raashii’s involvement had been circulating in the media and on social platforms for a while. Putting all rumours to rest, the makers released a still from the film today, unveiling her character’s name as Shloka.

In the photo, Raashii is seen in an olive-green outfit, holding a Sony camera with a strap around her neck, suggesting that she plays a passionate photographer in the film. She is paired opposite Pawan Kalyan, who plays a tough cop. Sreeleela, who plays the other female lead, has already completed shooting a few sequences. Raashii Khanna has now joined the ongoing schedule.

“Ustaad Bhagat Singh” marks the second collaboration between Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar after their blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
