Superstar Mahesh Babu and director SS Rajamouli have teamed up for a globe-trotting action-adventure, with filming officially kicking off in January this year. The next leg of filming was planned in the national parks of Kenya, but due to the prevailing political unrest in the country, the team has put the schedule on hold. They are now exploring alternative options, including Tanzania, depending on how the situation evolves.

So far, the team has canned several crucial action blocks, a song, and key talkie portions involving Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra, and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
But what’s coming next is a mix of intense emotional scenes and high-stakes adventure sequences, prompting Rajamouli to revise a key section of the screenplay. According to our sources, he is planning to bring in Deva Katta to polish the dialogues for this revised portion.
The film will also delve into a mythological-spiritual layer in its second half and this is an element currently being reworked. These rewrites aim to enhance the film’s depth and appeal for a global audience.
Currently referred to as #SSMB29, this untitled epic marks Mahesh Babu’s first international-scale film. It’s being positioned to elevate him to global superstardom. Likewise, Rajamouli is eyeing this film as a stepping stone to further solidify his stature as a global filmmaker.
