Popular Telugu actor Sai Dugha Tej turned his Most Desirable (Male) award win into one of the most heartfelt moments at the inaugural Eugenix Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards South 2025, held on Saturday night at the Park Hyatt, Hyderabad.

Presented with the award by music director Devi Sri Prasad, Tej decided to call his parents, Vijaya Durga and Dr. Siva Prasad, onto the stage.

Fighting back emotion, he dedicated the honour to his mother. “When I thought everything was lost, my mother stood by me and gave me courage. She boosted my confidence and brought me back to normalcy,” he said, recalling her support during his recovery from a life-threatening accident.

The star-studded evening saw several big names in attendance, including Nani, Adivi Sesh, Sudheer Babu, Sundeep Kishan, Malavika Mohanan, Teja Sajja, Anil Ravipudi, Naga Vamsi, Pragya Jaiswal, Raashii Khanna, Manchu Lakshmi, Bhagyashri Borse, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddharth, and Chinmayi Sripaada.

Speaking earlier to the press on the red carpet, Tej outlined his three style philosophies, emphasising comfort, ease, and peace of mind over trends. He cited Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan as his style icons, and Ram Charan’s look in the film Orange being his personal favourite.

On the work front, Tej is gearing up for the release of Sambarala Yeti Gattu, an action drama directed by Rohith KP and starring Aishwarya Lekshmi. The high-budget film, set for a pan-India release in late 2025, is expected to showcase the actor in an intense new avatar.
